The Story

Built It. Lost It. Rebuilt It With Systems.

Aaron Cuha founded DirectLender.com and grew it into one of the largest privately-held mortgage brokerages in the United States — 280 offices, 3,000 employees. Bear Stearns offered to acquire the company.

The 2008 financial crisis destroyed everything. The company, the money, and the identity built around running it. What followed was a decade of service in Nepal, running medical camps in the Himalayas and serving 5,000+ people through the Center for Global Change.

The rebuild came with a different approach: systems over hustle. Aaron logged 20,000+ coaching hours, became a Tom Ferry International Mastery Coach, built YouTube channels past 200,000+ subscribers, authored 5 books, and held Fortune 500 roles at Fiserv and The Carlyle Group. Today he splits time between Park City, Cabo, and Italy — proof the system works.
